The canoeing was delightful with clear maps and beautiful scenery. The tipis exceeded our expectation and were well equipped, comfortable and cosy – essential in the torrential rain we had on Saturday night – but delightfully authentic. The trip was well planned, long enough to give us a real sense of adventure but not too long that the kids got bored or tired, and the remoteness of the sites made us feel that we were really on our own. We were a group of mixed age but everyone loved the weekend and we are busy working out when we can all get together to repeat the trip. . We say – We realise that logs aren't the most comfy things to sit on in the world but this is an outdoor experience and we try not to over clutter your Tipi sites. We encourage clients to take advantage of the picnic benches we provide and wrap up in our lovely blankets.

"Hi all at Tipi Adventure, We returned from our fabulous Tipi adventure last week and would like to pass on this feedback... what we gained and enjoyed:- * beautiful locations and fabulous wildlife even seeing two otters one of which chased us along the bank for about 5 minutes! * having so many fires/ BBQ ; the wood provided was excellent quality and easy to light making the whole experience much more satisfying * holiday organisation was excellent * the detailed maps of the river were very helpful * very friendly and helpful staff who showed no signs of complaint even though we arrived at our destination for pick up so late (19:45) * Tipi facilities excellent, clean, well organised and good quality * as a family we had to learn to co-operate! It was a real team building and sometimes stressful time. There is no opportunity for a stroppy teenager to slam a door and storm off when you are heading for rapids backwards!!! We say – The rain has been a problem, so what we have done is dug out a shallow pit at the entrance of the Tipis and filled it in with bark and then covered with plastic matting. So far this has kept the damp at bay! We hope that this improvement will make a difference to future adventures.
